Rafael Piaget

Commercial Director

Rafael holds a Degree in IT Management Systems from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICAI) and a Degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri, as well as a Master’s in Real Estate Management from the Instituto de Empresa (IE).

He started out his career at Arthur Andersen, where he spent seven years, working in both the Auditing and Corporate Finance departments. He then went on to join the Credit Agrícole group (Calyon), specialising in Real Estate Financing. Before joining Sareb in 2013, he was General Manager at ING Real Estate Finance for seven years.

In 2013 he joined Sareb, initially overseeing the Bankia portfolio and then the Haya portfolio. In 2019 he was appointed Director of the Sareb Network. Rafael has also lectured on Simulation Models at the IEB since 2010.
